Promising Plants

Hey all

Got a question, some of my flowering plants have some main leaves and bud leaves dying off. they turning yellow and then die, why is this? Im watering them frequently and also feeding them nutes. Is this a nute deficiency or am i doing something wrong. Any help or input very much needed.

some pics for info

How's your water pH level? Is the weather under ~50 degrees F or over ~80 degrees F?

Also, i can't really see, but are the tips brown? If so that's nute burn.

Also, if the buds are getting ripe, it is not uncommon for the leaves to yellow and die off as the plant is concentrating its effort on the flowers.

Temps here are about 25 degree Celsius and getting colder by the day. Harvest time is like around the corner, like a month or two at the most. As for ph levels I don't have a clue as I lost my measuring device for my plants. But do you think it's an ph problem,

Well i hope this is this reason for my plants doing this. Harvest time is in the next 2-6 weeks depending on the plant and how far they are. Also this is like I have mentioned before this is my first outdoor grow so everything is new to me so far.

With my previous indoor grows i never really had this and knew when to harvest but now I'm a bit confused on what my plants are doing.

I will try and get a new PH tester in this week and report on my medium PH.

Thanks for the replies so far.

But overall and excuse me for my repeat posting but is everything looking good so far for everyone that im doing?

One thing I am enjoying is the different smells some of the pants are giving from one and another. Some have a very piney smells to lemony to dank strong smell, so that alone is making me excited with this outdoor grow.

maybe you also have an issue with the plants kinda outgrowing their pots; they seem to be on the small side. do you get a lot of runoff when watering/fertilizing? also, giving them more space and soil will give you bigger plants.

if the plants are getting ripe and don't look like dropping dead tomorrow, I wouldn't worry about it. especially since you are only a couple weeks away from harvest. maybe even back off with the fertilizer a bit and let nature do its thing. :)

I wish I could grow legally, would never do anything else than outdoor... maybe greenhouse for late bloomers and higher yields, but not having to use electricity is awesome.

Well yes I also do think the pots they growing in might be a bit to small but transplanting them at this time would be more negative then good. So guess I just have to see what I will get from what I have and where I am at. Maybe cutting back on the nutes may help. So what I will do is go to once a week bytes and keep the rest the same. As mentioned before I'm around the corner from harvesting so the last few weeks is just to get the most out of them as I can. Thanks for the input

yeah you're right that transplanting now would be pointless. but my guess is that you will be harvesting some nice bud. :)

Usually you want to keep a nice lush green until about the last 2 weeks when the buds really start to ripen. Also, it's common for the lower leaves that aren't getting as much sunlight to yellow and die. But the plants look to be yellowing a bit early for it to be from fall colors, and they're not overly bushy so nothing is starved for light. Also, it seems pretty evident that the yellowing is starting in the old growth fan leaves and progressing upwards. Which I've understood to be indicative of a nute def, probably N.

Might be a bit late to try and correct nute problems at this point if harvest is in 2 weeks. Most flush for about that time and allow the plant to use up the nutes it has, or at least that's the theory.

hey guys. here are some bud pics of my grow so far... Some Weed porn if you wish :)

the bud pics are from random plants and just took two pics and put them together to make posting easier. So the two pics together aren't necessary from the same plant.

hey guys something horrible thing happened. One of the branches on one of my plants snapped (not off) but there is a clear visible square bend. Think this happened from the cola being to heavy. So what can i do? Leave it and will it survive or should i just cut it off

hey guys and gals. Here are some pics of my small dilemma i was talking about.

the 3rd pic is to show the size of the cola or branch that bended/snapped.

So what can i do now. just leave it and see how far it still keeps growing or should i just snip it of there where it bended and just use it as a tester. Tho its a big piece for just a tester. but if that is my only option then so be it.

Let me know what you guys think asap please.

plus i made these higher quality pics then normal so you can have a decent look and also just to check out those crystal covered buds :D
