First, we apologize for the recent downtime. It was unplanned and unexpected. If we need someone to blame, point to TLB. However, we hope you all enjoyed a day in the real world :D As for the volunteer staff, standard policy is that you will not get paid for time off. Cheers.

In a more serious note, we will be having a few more periods of downtime in coming months as we troubleshoot some issues (check the Support and Technical Help forum for any particular issues under discussion) as well as preparing for our migration to a different software. However, going forward, we will do our best to inform you of such downtime in advance, and you can continue to stay updated by following our twitter account (@BluelightForum) and/or checking with us on facebook.

I'm going to close this thread for replies, as it was intended primarily to let members know what's going on (you know, like an "announcement" or something rather than a "discussion"). All the replies, however, are very valid and need to be reviewed for any actions we can take. As such, all replies have been moved to an appropriate thread in our support forum. Thank you.

We will be taking the site offline for this Tuesday-Wednesday (January 22-23) for up to 48 hours beginning roughly 5AM GMT that Tuesday morning. We may start a few hours earlier, we may come back in less than 48 hours depending on how successfully things go. While we are offline, you will likely get the same Bluelight LED sales page that showed for many of you the other week when we went offline. That site is NOT ours and has nothing to do with us, it is simply what the internet is serving up when it can't find us. Thank you for your patience, you are welcome for more time in the real world.
