Mental Health MDMA Abuse and a predisposition to depression

I was a lite user but I abused "Ecstasy" on a weekend and now 8 months later I am extremely depressed and anxious.

Has anyone experience anything like this and recover or am I permenatly eff'd? Please help!

Your experience doesn't seem that outlandish to me, given how MDMA can do a number on the brain. That said, it may be something else--we don't know. And only a doctor can really tell you what's going on.

You're not "permanently eff'd", don't worry about that. People can recover from the most amazing of circumstances.

Update: not much has changed since I last posted. However, I now know that I am a living breathing horror story... still just living until I die with no real enjoyment out of life.

Yes I did. It was time consuming and had risks associated with so many general anaesthetics but it effectively treated my depression and anxiety. Main side effect was some memory loss.
