Hello, I'm a long-time lurker, but this is my first post. I get prescribed 60 Morphine 30mg and 120 Oxycodones 10mg, but at my last doctor's appointment the Oxys were reduced to 108 and the doctor has informed me that the reduction will be gradual, but imminent. Just wondering if this is happening for anyone else. He said it's the Administration. Is this just my luck or something happening to other people? :X

I saw this happen to a lot of people I know awhille back here in FL.
But they were being prescribed a bit more than you.
Maybe something like 180 dilaudid along with over 100 methadone
or morphines and a benzo.

Hello beecharmer
Yeh, me too. Been on pain meds for best part of twenty years, and fentanyl for fifteen. then year before last DEA sent out their directive to all the doctors here in northern Calif. been on reduction for a year now. It's rough all over.

Hey beecharmer, welcome....think it's happening to me too...used to get 60 8mg suboxone once a month now I get them every two weeks and only 25...not liking the direction this is going. I'm gonna have to tell my doc that I'm considering going back on heroin if this shit keeps on, haha jk...maybe:(

Opioid manufacturing quotas are being slashed by the trump (un)organization. Incredibly legitimate pain specialists that are professors of medicine are being prosecuted by the DEA, while there are still pill mill docs not even board certified doing their thing albeit on a much smaller scale.

However, the chronic pain community has been mobilizing quite a bit as of late. There has even been the formation of chronic pain task force within the government that recently submitted a report to congress that was very pro opiate.

There was some recent hearing between congress and some pain advocates.

Lastly, FOX news aired z 3 part piece on how this crackdown is ruining patients lives I would highly recommend you watch it.
Cnn fake news still pushing false epidemic narrative.

I think the US is just going to become desensitized to the fent overdoses just like we become to everything. Soon it will be normal and this opioid epidemic agenda will hopefully die down and we will be back on roxys
