I am intrigue by the East area rapist, original night stalker (this is not Richard Ramirez), or the golden state killer. How did he break into 200+ homes, rape and kill people yet he is still not caught?

John Wayne Gacy and Dahmer intrigue me because they had all of those bodies, and probably killed more than were found?

Not sure if this is the right forum guys but thought it may be more appropriate than CE&P. Hopefully okay! :)

^I sensed you were into death, rape and general brutality. My pleasure. :)

I recently found out that I lived on the same street as the Claremont serial killer in Western Australia.

The murders were in 1996 -1998 and the perp also kidnapped and raped several other women prior to this.

The guy was tracked down and arrested this year. The delay was due to police bungling and misplacement of vital dna evidence that was sent overseas for testing 20 years ago and not chased up.

The amount of bungling, errors and stupidity by police in many of these types of crime sprees is unbelievable.

That is a seriously cool yet disturbing fact zephyr <3

My favorite serial killer is Ted Bundy. Watch his last interview. He seriously blames his violent urge to brutally sodomise corpses on porn. :|

While walking around town Saturday morning in the rain tripping balls, I thought it was funny that my actor friend-trip sitter made the comment that he looked like a sailor and I a serial killer.

Anyone ever have fantasies along those lines? ;)

^Guys a nutter. I like the bit when he mentions that his issues "came to a head" a minute after the voiceover mentions his penchant for sex with headless corpses. I'm not sure the pun was intended.

Why is he your favourite?

"Favorite" is a difficult word really. I certainly find him interesting. I cannot imagine being able to do what he did.

I remember reading an anecdote from various family members and prison guards who said that when Ted Bundy got angry, he would start to emit a strange scent. :\ Something creepy as fuck about that... Animal-like.

I used to read a lot more about serial killers but I find it much more discturbing than I used to.

Ted made up his whole speech on porn turning him into a serial killer in hopes to try and get some psychologist to at least delay his execution so he could study Ted's brain. Pretty sure the psychologist was a religious nut case and was trying to show why porn should be outlawed.

Prison guards also mention a ghost of Ted Bundy at the Florida State penitentiary.

But, Jeffery Dahmer ftw.

Have you read 'The Stranger Beside Me'? I just finished it. Pretty fascinating book if you haven't come across it before. Written by a woman who worked with Ted and kept in touch with him over the years. She ended up becoming a crime writer and had been writing about the Ted Bundy murders for some time, before it came out that he was the suspect.

I've heard of it but haven't read it. I will look for it, thanks for mentioning...

That Gacy guy was pretty messed up. I try They had a movie on him. That was messed up.

How about Jeffrey Dahmer (incorrect spelling) That guy was really screwed up.

The movie "true story" is pretty decent. Although the movie has some fiction; tis still pretty interesting.
Jonah Hill as Michael Finkle and James Franco as Christian Longo star in the film.

It's based on a man named Christian Longo, a man from Oregon who killed his wife and three children; but assumed the identity of a journalist Michael Finkel, who wrote for the New York Times but was fired for embellishing new stories.

(Alleged) Claremont serial killer ;)
Were you living near him in Huntingdale, or more recently? I must admit i'm morbidly intrigued by this case as well, as it seemed like it was nobody was ever going to be charged. All the info that has been released publically is from a creepy forum called web sleuths, and i gotta admit i've read a lot of it.
For such a small city, Perth Western Australia has had a lot of really fucked up serial killers, going back to Eric Cooke in the 60s.

As for true crimes, i'm quite interested in the iraq war.
And the Kennedy assassination, i suppose.

I also watched a couple of documentaries about OJ Simpson recently. Was pretty surprised to hear that he was apparently framed by police, and seemingly innocent.
Trial by media.

I don't like the way a lot of people talk about serial killers though, as if they are celebrities. It's a special kind of sick.

Yeah serial killers / murder porn never really did it for me. Much more interested in cult leaders :D
