wadda fuck! the original patent claim of W1-8 was just a pile of crap! They just made the shit up..cook up the data. Not even 1mg/kg do not shit to mice (according to this paper) and the original patent claims a dose of 0.0000038mg/kg to give analgesic IC50 in mice!? what a fucking waste of people's time!

^I'm not sure why this is suprising. Patents are filed to secure intellectual property, not to report scientific findings. They didn't include any binding data -- the only evidence was a behavioral assay that isn't specific for opioids.
