I searched for threads with netflix in the title and there were two one from 2004 & one from 2008 about netflix w/ xbox live. They were both pretty short.

I got to recommend http://instantwatcher.com/ to any netflix subscriber who uses streaming and hasn't encountered it yet. Instantwatcher is overall far superior to netflix for finding something to watch ime.

Anyways next in disk queue for me is Dexter Season4 disk 1. Next thing I'm watching instant is Love is the Devil. If I don't like it, it will turn out to be the first time I didn't like a project with Derek Jacobi.

If anyone has movie or TV recommendations or any tricks or tips about netflix I'd love to hear them.

4 seasons of A Bit of Fry and Laurie were released for instant watching today.

is there a good program to capture streaming video?

iv got netflix i much prefer it to watching on tv, wish they had black books on instant

edited to add, watching &rec all the presidents men (1976) which is about to expire on instant. its about watergate and the reporters behind it

do they rotate the movies u watch instantly on net flix?

i'd rather watch them on tv at home but the instant gratification of watching them online is the best imo, unless its a movie that needs to be watched on a big screen

Rotate yes, some expire and new ones are added. Even the instant selection is beyond what an average person could exhaust. In explicit terms there is a whole gob-fuck mess of shit to watch by streaming.

the ps3, xbox360, some dvd/blueray players, and the device netflix sells all allow you to stream to your big screen tv. definitely worth the cash imo.

i just wish that netflix could close the deal with the major studios or whatever so we had a better assortment of movies to watch, instead of sifting through all the friday sequels -_-

why not hook your computer up to your tv to watch streaming movies?

umm i dont have the wires for that and i dont know if they make wires that are that long.

Good Netflix "Instant Play" titles

I didn't know a better way to put together a list of the gems that are hiding in Netflix's instant play selection than to just ask.

I've found:
Hackers
Big Lebowski
Jackie Brown
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Go
Human Traffic
Groove
Juon 2
the entire "Universe" series from National Geographic

I hope some of you have Netflix and watch a shitload of movies all the time like me, so we can put together a list of the badass movies that can be watched instantly. Don't forget to add good anime and documentary titles to the list, as well as tv shows.
