Dave Douglas Freak In

Fantastic album!! Eveything Mr. Douglas puts out is amazing!! I highly recommend this album. Great mix of jazz and electronics. This album is on the same level as Miles Davis Argartha & Pangaea.

The Necks

The best in minimal jazz. I love this band! Check them out if they are ever playing around you. I've had the chance to see them twice and it was one of the best concert experiences of my life (and I see alot of jazz!)

I always like new topics, so I'll join in. :D

I've always been fond of Jazz, but like Classical, I don't really know enough about it to explore it further. I used to listen to a Jazz station many years ago, and I really enjoyed the instrumental stuff. Particularly with lots of drum solos, double bass, and a lil' of something else thrown in.

Sun Ra is great! Perfect for drugged out listening. Wes Montgomery is fantastic too, boss guitar.

Duke Pearson's "Sweet Honey Bee" album is great if you like music that reminds you of Austin Powers.
