The subject of zoophilia is extremely contentious, mulberryman... there are very few discussions that I recall in almost 6 years on Bluelight that got as ugly as the last one. I expect this will go up in flames before long.

DD, you make some valid points assuming that the premise "zoophilia is flat-out wrong" is true. And yes, I agree with you that the dependence on humans that a canine sexual partner, for example, has with respect to medical care, feeding, etc. could create a basic inequity. But the same argument could be applied in any number of different ways. Yes, relationships should be as fair and as equitable as possible. This is the part of zoophilic relationships that sits the worst with me.

However, the comparison with pedophilia really does not hold up under scrutiny. I have lost count of the number of fallacious arguments against zoophilia I have read since the topic was first broached. In comparing zoophilia to pedophilia, you are truly comparing apples and oranges. They are not the same thing for reasons you have yourself described -- because dogs aren't people, it isn't OK to have sex with them. Children are people.

Let's get back to the original scenario for a moment with one substitution. Son finds mother and mother's boyfriend's pornographic materials. But this time instead of a dog, it's a young boy who is clearly not over age 18. Is there a greater moral imperative to intervene? To me, absolutely. I would have no qualms whatsofuckingever about turning in my own father if I were to find such materials. And then I would probably move to the other end of the world if I could not retain anonymity. I would be absolutely destroyed.

I am sure you would react in a similar manner. Whether or not it is OK to have sex with animals is not a question I will have to answer except in the abstract at any point in my life. I don't swing that way and I have a very high level of personal disgust at the acts themselves.

What I will not do is confuse my personal disgust at the acts and a gut-level belief that this type of "relationship" is not equitable with the facts -- the dumbass who videotapes themselves doing things that can not only get them in trouble, but then tries to sell that shit and then their own child has to bust them? The only conclusion I can effectively make is that stupidity doesn't discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation.

Mulberryman, I was wondering what you were trying to say in your last couple of posts. They don't make any sense to me.

The hypocrisy boggles my mind on many levels. Here is a person with a screen name that proclaims his fondness for anal sex, an activity that is still very controversial. Then he posts abusive comments on a drug discussion website because I express tolerance of zoophilia. I find him hard to believe. I think he might be trolling for a reaction.
Just from the reactions in this thread and Fausty's threads, I can very well imagine the hate that zoos must encounter or fear encountering if they are outed is horrible beyond belief and very difficult to cope with.

Also I am not trolling. It absolutely boggles my mind you find fucking animals oke. I hope all you that support it have a child that is a zoophile (& very open about it to people so everyone knows your kid fucks animals) & want to know how much you guys accept it then.
