Not at all, Did you feel it was a waste of time and money or did you get something out of it?

Comparative Literature and East Asian studies--still in school but will probably go into public relations or something that will keep me in China or Japan.

chemistry

right now i tutor chemistry and help run the tutoring service at the campus i graduated from...

yes, i use my studies for my job...but not to their full extent...

eventually i'd like to become a HS teacher...

graphic design

right now im not using it, but i will be in the working class again soon!

business administration with an emphasis in project/supply chain management

right now, a product support specialist for a high end catalog company. deal mostly with inside and outside customer support.

i did end up in the field i was studying right after college, but with the downturn in the economy, i was let go from my job and finding a job in the industry was entirely too difficult. i plan on getting back into an upper management role with time.

im not finished but I initially went to school for System Administration.. but I decided against it once I attended classes

so, i started out in speech-language pathology, with a Psych minor, and decided i wasn't competitive enough (ie, i would rather go out and have fun as opposed to staying in and earning a 3.7 GPA to get into grad school) so i switched to Counseling and Psychology.. where I am now. I will go to grad school eventually, to master in counseling or law school, my #1 dream

i briefly considered Education but no fckin way.. too low of pay ;) for HS at least.

so yeah i have a hard time making decisions

psychology major, no minors graduating in the spring. although in the fall i'm taking night classes so i can earn my LSW.

i am currently looking for a job in the psych field so i can earn money towards grad school. i have a job modeling for the art school here and work in day care while i am at home.

right now i don't use my major at all except friends asking me psych related questions.

Youth Affairs - I went on to work in youth wrok field for a few years. I'm now a corporate boy working in sales :)

Studied law, used it for a few years, realised how much it sucks, have left my job and am going to work for an airline.

awww yay kelle on following your heart :D

I went to undergrad for psych and a minor in criminal justice. Worked as a caseworker for a little bit, then went back to school for grad studies in psych involving psychology and law related issues, so yeah, in my case I am doing pretty much what I've studied. :)

Social Science major w/ a single subject teaching credential
History minor...

I am in sales/account management and don't use any of the above...

I majored in Sociology, sorta minored (but didn't actually get declared official -- long story) in Ethnomusicology.

What I do now: grad school! (Anthropology)

Majored in social psychology and minored in poli sci with law school in mind. I also did a lot of coursework in neuroscience but couldn't hack the prerequisites to make it a major. I loved all of it and wouldn't change a thing about my majors.

I'm currently working assisting real estate brokers and have a tiny 10-15 hour a week consulting thing going in addition to that. Basically, real estate professionals count on me to effectively market their listings and oversee the administrative aspects of their transactions.

I hate it.

I think I may change my mind and going to culinary school, in which case I will be attending the California Culinary Academy's Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program (see www.baychef.com for details). I don't know if a career as an executive chef is the thing for this dedicated 9 to 5er but I love to create meals for friends and family more than anything else, and they say do what you love, right?

I have also never worked in food service in any capacity. I think it might be occupational shock, but I am a damn good cook and I know I could be an amazing chef if I attend this excellent institution.

In the meantime though, I'd like to get back into corporate legal assisting which is what I did before I moved to CA. I'm aggressively pursuing jobs and hopefully I'll be able to leave the real estate business as a consulting thing and not depend on it for my income.

Ya I got a cozey 8 years left of school. Biomedical engineering with pre-med requirements is a mother fucking BITCH!!

I hold a degree in Aviation Safety and Air Traffic Control. Both of which I use.

I was an international relations major as an undergrad last year and am currently a graduate student in political science. I am currently a fellow and working for the Boy Scouts of America, conducting a program evaluation survey for them. I am learning and applying social science research skills through the execution of the survey. I will be graduating in September and plan on going into the financial field, probably financial advising. This should put to use the research skills I have developed through the two degrees or so my resume will have employers believe :)
