Yes - around that time… mostly mid late 90's, although I did enjoy Jackie Brown. He took a turn with that vampire film. It was entertaining, but just a lot different than his previous films. He later on …. held some interest for me. It's just personal taste. Some folks really enjoyed the Kill Bill series. I just couldn't get into them.. nor watch Grindhouse all the way through.

He does have a good taste in cast, also in some of his acting capabilities. Love that scene he was in in Sleep with Me about Top Gun.. This might be it. Hilarious

I saw that. Really strange but interesting film.
This older lady was fanatic about amphetamines and didn´t realize she was getting crazier and crazier in the meantime.
Mental institute was showed how they probably are.
