Latest DEA Microgram report

...and those diamonds containing TMA.

I have a friend who once upon a time had a family member make many different chemicals from Shulgin's books. He had tried quite a few of them and said that TMA-2 was the best of the lot. Including MDMA.

It's funny that you never see this chemical around.

It's funny that you never see this chemical around

It may be because it's not as easy to synthesize as many of the other amphetamines. Or maybe it's because the chems required are not so easy to obtain. TMA is normally made from 2,4,5 trimethoxybenzaldehyde. Normal routes from a benzaldehyde-->ketone--> amine use a nitro condensation reactant that is a very watched chemical.

Asarone is a naturally occurring propylene benzene also with the 2,4,5 methoxy substitution pattern and is found in oil of calamus.

Asarone is to TMA as isosafrole is to MDA, and anethole is to PMA. However, while the later two starting materials can both be oxidised to the ketone relatively easily using a peracid (performic, peracetic etc), asarone reacts to form - in the words of Rhodium - a "heavily substituted tetrahydrofuran" termed Magnosalicin. This occurs due to the stabilizing affects of the 2,4,5 trimethoxy ring substitutes on a carbocation intermediate, formed during the oxidation process.

According to the literature, other epoxide forming oxidations can be done with asarone, but the syntheses I've read about generally also require non OTC chemicals, one of which can be very toxic if inhaled or mishandled.

Both 3,4,5 trimethoxybenzaldehyde and asarone would probably prove difficult to obtain as most of the di and tri methoxy substituted allyl/ propylene benzenes and the benzaldehydes are well known starting materials.

Its interesting that the MDMA & Methamphetamine combination tablets were the first to be submitted to one of their DEA labratories. This is hard to believe!

What about the Meth in liquid... it works out to like half a gram to a ml... shit why dont people start doing that instead of eating it.. 1 drop or 2 on the tongue.. you'd be laughin

Looks like a mostly MDMA + K pill to me. Meth coke and possible dramamine are very low ratios.. Maybe the coke wasn't intentionally put in there? Either way the dose in them would not have any effect.

And ppl didn't think that coke was in pills... we've had them in australia b4.

^Well, there's never a substantial enough amount of coke in the pills, because to get high off coke taken orally it would take alot, which wouldn't be very economical now would it? Given the high price of coke, especially in Australia.
From all of the amounts of coke I have seen in the pill analysises, they have turned out to be a pretty insignificant amount, so you most definitely wouldn't be getting any effects from the coke.

They're most likely just trace-elements of the drug. Just like there's trace-elements of drugs on money notes.

Always an interesting read the Microgram report......thansk for posting.

Only 15-25% MDMA in all those BC tablets! Ketamine, procaine.. fucking drug manufacturers trying to rip off the good drug taking public of the U.S 8(

I Love these reports! Thanks BongoBongo=D

This is the list of drugs taken from one house in Greece - holy shit what a stash.

Look at the MDMA content of the pills paradoxically the tablets weigh over 300mg have small MDMA content whilst its the smaller tablets that have high proportions of MDMA (even greater then tablets that weigh twice as much).

So 99mg of MDMA is the best this guy had in his stash. Though its good to see that LSD is still being produced in large amounts.

edit: "1 piece of bread" - fucking awesome. Image going to court because you had a piece of bread found on your body during your arrest.
