Last movie you watched?

Last night I went and saw Night Watch. It was very good, I'll probably go and see the next two movies in the trilogy.

One thing I really liked was how the subtitles were fashioned to fit in with the moond of the film and what was happening in the story. More films should do this.

The Color of Money. I had never seen it before, even though Scorsese is one of my favorite directors. I thought it was great, I can't believe I had never bothered to watch it before. The performances were really good, especially Paul Newman. I've never seen The Hustler either, but I really want to now. The photography was breath taking, but that't basically a given in Scorsese movies. I also never noticed how sexy Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio was before seeing this. I've seen her in a lot of movies and she always looked good, but something about her in this movie was just stunning, I couldn't take my eyes off her.

Big Fish, a surprisingly good film. Didn't know what to expect, and what I got was a very Tim Burton fantasy story. Well recommended.
nice..i love this movie..:)

Along came polly, a surprisingly good romantic comedy with Jennifer Aniston and Ben Stiller. Nothing to write home about, but definitly worth watching and when it was over I was more then satisfied.

I loved Big Fish and I ADORE Quills!!!
Just saw Changing Lanes with Ben affleck....Wow. Fuck I forgot this mofo can actually act...this is a fantastic movie that didnt really raise a ruckus during its release. (thank GOD for HBO!)

Agreed. I was expecting it to not be funny at all, but was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was a bit too long and it dragged at times, but the first hour is pretty side-splitting, IMO.

I agree, the last 1/3 of the movie wasn't nearly as on target but I still laughed my ass off through most of it.

It was just as magnificent as usual. I can't believe I still haven't read the book.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

complex movie about relationships and regrets, breakups and the like. some weird moments but a good movie all round. Jim Carey kinda shows a slightly more serious side. Lots of big names... Elijah Wood, Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst

^^^
That movie is amazing.

Just saw kingdom of heaven. Almost fell asleep during one part that slowed down a little bit but all in all I really liked the cinematography, actors, and plot.

Grosse Pointe Blank

...on WGN right now. Looks a bit dated, but still excellent. :)

Night of the Living Dead. The original one without the new (shit) footage and with soundtrack untampered.

Orgazmo. It sort of sucked so I didn't finish it.

What didn't you like about it? Are you just not a fan of Trey and Matt's humour?

'cause I found it to be hilarious. A mormon starring in pornos!

"Stunt cock" :)

constantine,it was pretty good,i was high tho so i didnt really follow the plot that well,i am sure i would understand it more sober

i try to watch movies, atleast twice, once high and once sober

"Go"

another favourite, brings back memories from a lifestyle I no longer lead (for the most part).

Little Fish

best example of sydney on the big screen yet

Layer Cake.
I always fall for fancy production and flashy editing, but god the ending of the movie pissed me off bad. Good movie till then.
I love Sienna Miller. WTF was Jude Law thinking?

Saw Armageddon for the nth time last night in HBO sunday special.......I love this fuckin movie =D Its up there in my list of pure mindless-for-entertainment only Hollywood movies . Right after that they showed Fatal Attraction with Glenn Close, and again, i watched it for the nth time (yes, im a serial MOVIE REPEATER!!!!!!!)

^I fucking hate that movie more than anything else in the world

Anyway, I saw Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room yesterday. Interesting account of the string of fuck ups.
