Two held over cocaine import racket

TWO Melbourne men have faced court charged with importing $2 million of cocaine inside a hydraulic tractor part.
Hernan Andrade, 42, of St Kilda, and Kamal Younan, 32, from Oak Park, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates' Court today charged with possessing a prohibited import and aiding and abetting an offence.
Customs officers allegedly discovered 1.97kg of cocaine in a box imported from Ecuador which arrived in Sydney on August 25, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) said.
The box was allegedly addressed to a private residence in the Melbourne suburb of Oak Park.
AFP officers yesterday searched a premises in Broadmeadows, in Melbourne's north, seizing $70,000 in cash and a $150,000 Mercedes Benz.
Neither man applied for bail and both were ordered to reappear at the same court on November 24
