Geez this could quite easily be my top 5!! The burbs is so damn funny, will post mine later...

Dunno if I could really call this a top 5 but its more like the "top 5 movies that I keep going back and watching"

1. Jacobs Ladder
2. Edward Scissorhands
3. Donnie Darko
4. Signs
5. Pleasantville

Ask me next week, will be different!

Ask me now, i have another top five in the offing! =D
1. Evil Dead 1
2. The Omen 1 & 2
3. Almost Famous
4. Finding Nemo
5. Edward Scissorhands

Tune it for next weeek!

I thought I'd do a recap and write a little blurb about each one.

1. Transworld Anthology

My favorite skate flick. The Tom Penny opener is great. Shows how good he really is. The Reynolds, Berra, and Kirchart
combo footage is the best. Some crazy stuff in there. There's the Markovich kickflip over the hill gap in Huntington.
And they have probably the smoothest Carrol footage (the Modus line in the dark)

2. Das Boot

My favorite film in terms of acting. Its shot well. Great drama. Great script.

3. Blade Runner (DC)

A much better film or work of art than the book. Its got so much style pouring out of it, its crazy. My favorite sci-fi film ever.

4. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

The elcheapo comedy. First movie by the Python, and my favorite. Gilliam and Jones do such a great job, the first time I watched it (when I was a kid) I couldnt stop laughing at the knight scene, had to have a rewind. Brillant!

5. Ronin

Again, a well written script. Great bunch of actors in it. My favorite driving scenes in a film thus far. DeNiro and Reno are amazing.

90's...boogie nights
00's ...not over yet so cant say, lol

It's not that there are good ideologies and bad ideologies -- ALL ideology is poisonous. Because to have an ideological position assumes that you understand the nature of reality. How likely is that? How likely is that? -Terence Mckenna

5) Trainspotting
4) Repo Man
