watched this last night. highly stylised thriller which will inevitably be compared, perhaps, to 'training day'. i think it leaves training day in the dust.
it was a little heavy-handed at times and ray liotta was playing to type a little (not such a bad thing...) but some brutal scenes, great direction and a somewhat unexpect twist at the end made it an excellent viewing experience for me.
have you seen it?

Decent movie. I saw it in the theatre and was quite impressed. It was a little drawn out though. It would make a good rental.

I thought the structure of this film was EXCELLENT. I enjoyed every minute, performances were incredible and it was just such a strong dialogue.

^^^ Jason Patric
I haven't seen this yet but was wondering if Ray Liotta plays a creepy, corrupt cop in this as well as he did in Unlawful Entry.

After starring in the clunker Speed 2, it was nice to see Jason Patric redeem himself with /\/arc.

I thought it was as good as training day. This wasn't as hyped by everyone so I found it more enjoyable. Honestly, Jason Patrick to me did better playing wingman than Ethan Hawke in Training Day. Yes, Denzel was great but I still don't believe it was anything that amazing seeing as how Samuel L. Jackson has been doing that for years.
3 out of 4. Enjoyable to watch multipile times. :)
I thought Ray Liotta hammed it up a bit (over-acting) but generally it was a good film.
The editing was interesting and had a nice flow.
