Why is it so addictive it doesn't do much for me anymore even in high doses

Tolerance. The more you use it the more you need to feel it's effects.

Be really careful with high doses. If I remember correctly, the drug has a very long half-life. It can quickly build up in your system and potentially cause you real problems

It's addictive because it's a benzo like any other. It just happens to be weak compared to many others. Still not something you want to become physically dependent on, though. That's for damn sure. Trust me.
