Heightened dose of oxycodone and now it doesn't work?

Ok so, I've just recently got on with the pain clinic. My doctor prescribed me oxycodone with Tylenol 7.5 mg for the first two weeks. Yesterday, I had my second appointment and he prescribed me oxycodone HCL 10 mg. I took two of the 10 mg and nothing. I'm seriously getting zero pain relief. Is this because it doesn't have the Tylenol? When I was on the 7.5 mg and took two, I would at least get a little relief so I'm really confused why an even stronger prescription is doing nothing. Thanks:)

Depending on what kind of pain you have, the tylenol will help. Just supplement your prescribed dose of oxy with some additional tylenol, which as you know, you can buy anywhere.

Nicholai, I just bought some Tylenol to see if that's what was making the difference. I'm about to take my next dose and find out. It seems like my pain is nerve pain. Do you know if the Tylenol makes a difference with that kind of pain?

It should help some. Not for intense nerve pain, though, you'd need something stronger.
