not another plugging thread!

Yes yes I know that this has been done to death but...

When i've looked through the threads on swallowing vs snorting vs plugging pills I always find out peoples opinion as to how strong the effects will be. I also found some information about the duration (or legs) of a pill in the case or swallowing and snorting. What I didn't find was any info as to whether there was much of an effect on the duration of a plugged pill?

I myself find that plugging a pill comes on a lot stronger but I haven't noticed it last any shorter a period of time. Am I just lucky or does everyone find this?

The impression i was under was that by plugging you are increasing the amount of mdma absorbed into your brain but i can't think of a reason for it to last any less time?

my personal experiences have been that the roll seems about 50% stronger and longer but a lot less loved up. It's a more strong roll as compared to orally taking the pill. There should not really be any reason for it to be a shorter duration but according to stats, around 70-90% of the mdxx is abosrbed by plugging as opposed to 40-60% when orally taken. It is not necessarily abosrobed quicker, hence a stronger shorter roll, just that more active ingrediant is absorbed into your system since it is bypassing the first pass filter method of the stomach.

Elicid - why would people call you shit (and why would you feel the need to tell people anyway?)? There are a lot of reasons why people would (and many pharmaceuticals are administered this way). In addition, if you want to resort to name-calling, I would suggest the idiot in this thread is the person who contributes absolutely nothing to the question that was asked by the thread starter. Frankly I don't think anyone cares what your friends think of you...

Lucciddreamer, I had variable results and haven't plugged in ages. I've had a few excellent experiences, and a few mediocre ones - in all cases the duration was similar to the duration I'd got off the same pills orally.

to answer your question: different people, different physiological responses. back in the day when anything (and everything) would wind up stuck up my arse, i'd always find a slightly longer and definetly more intense experience with whatever the substance when plugged. as far as pills go, for the given pill, the effects will be slightly longer simply due to the increased absorbtion of the substance. for this reason it is good to first try plugging with a pill you know the relative strenght of, and/or start in halves/thirds/quarters depending on your tollerance.

the only thing to be careful regarding dosage, is if you are crushing and capping the pills before you plug. there are many difference gel or vegetable caps around that will have different dissapation rates. some big thick vegi caps may take up to an hour before dissolving, so always stick to your orignal dosing plan with whatever substance.
