I need some advice for a resource I'm writing.

What are other terms for or ways of describing the sterile water ampoules you get from NSPs for injecting? Like this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/Metoclopramide_ampule.jpg

My brain is throwing out words like "sterile water plastic bubble" and I don't think that's very clear.

Regional or community slang welcome, but I probably won't be able to use it unless it's commonly used in Australia.

Vials?
In italian we say fiala ( phial/vial) , ampolla ( ampule) is dated

An ampoule is a packaged capsule designed to inject a single dose of x drug contained within it.

Why not put in parentheses "injectable capsule" after the first time you use the term?

Sterile water container or sterile water dropper container or something?

Edit: I also say sterile water packs

When we write out directions for prescriptions for things packaged liked this, usually nebulization meds, we almost exclusively write vial.

I work in a hospital, we just call then plastic vials/ampoules of water for injection.
