Film Janis: Little Girl Blue (2015)

I saw this great Documentary/Biography about Janis Joplin, that Janis wrote in letters to her family and friends over her young 27 years. Many people collaborated on the film including members of Big Brother and the Holding Company, Bob Weir (who's own movie was great) and Dick Cavett, Laura Joplin (sister) Michael Joplin (brother) and many more. The film does an excellent job of shining a light on who she was and to me the most eye opening was her roots in Texas. Has anyone else had a chance to see the film? Has anyone seen this film? It opened this past weekend. It seems to be played in art houses and the like. So far, it has a 93% Freshness rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Janis, along with Grace Slick paved the way for women in Rock & Roll. Please feel free to share.
