Opioids Avoiding nausea on hydromorphine

Today swim and a friend will be doing hydromorphine for the first time. swim has little experience with opiates but from what swim has read online one of the negative side effects is nausea and vomiting. Swim hates vomiting and would like to avoid it as much as possible, is it safe to mix with gravol and will this help? are there any ther methods to avoiding nausea? any replies would be appreciated
