As the FBI Cleans the Dark Net, Sites Far More Evil Than Silk Road Live On

As the NCA, FBI and other law enforcement agencies crack down on illegal markets on the deep web, other, seedier areas in the digital shadows remain, as evidenced by one new site I found that involves not drugs, but sex, violence, and ultimately death.

The site, called Cruel Onion Wiki, which I noticed had newly appeared in directories of the deep web, collates links to videos of women killing and torturing animals, usually in a sexualised fashion. From rabbits and cats to even a monkey, a pheasant, and some turtles, the creatures are crushed, sat on, or suffocated, often by fully or semi-nude women.

Some of the titles of the videos include “hamster boob crush,” “Buttcrush goose and rabbit,” and “crush butt mouse 6.” You get the idea. In total, there are 103 videos on the site, most of which have additional mirrors, or backups in case the original files get deleted.

For obvious reasons I have not watched the videos on the site, but to confirm the authenticity of the leaked videos, a Motherboard editor watched a portion of a video that was advertised as a woman crushing a rabbit under her heel. According to the editor, it was real, and it was horrifying.

Thought this article was relevant considering users asking how many child porn sites have been busted on the deep web. The collective estimate is 0.

Well the collective estimate is wrong, funnilly enough the FBI actually took down a large number of CP websites when it shut down Freedom Hosting, all of them were hosted on the Dark Web, recently also Brazillian authoritys shut down some CP sites that were located on the dark net.

If you research "Freedom Hosting bust" etc it will give you some more info.

With the recent Onymous bust though, several of the people who were arrested for hosting sites selling guns and drugs etc on the darkweb actually turned out that the websties were scam sites and had no intention of actually sending out any products, so you know they do sometimes do some good for us . :)

I wish I wouldn't have read your post. Now I'm sad, picturing all those squished animals. Wtf, dude? Buzz kill.

^ Yeah, me too, people who do that are so warped, people who get off on looking at it with half or full naked woman are just as bad as well. It's up there with child abuse to me. Sickos! :(

Why don't we leave some drug markets open as long as they help take down all that other horrible shit?

It's not like the US govt is doing a very good job of it

The moment one of the knuckleheads at the DEA thinks the animal crushing website is somehow associated with drug use, you can be certain they'll be all over it like white on rice. Crime and profit all the way.

What it is is that the police (FBI, DEA, etc) have no incentive to take down those really bad sites on the dark net, the only sites they wanna take down are the drug ones so they can get the bitcoins then auction them off for cash....

Thankfully, this is becoming more and more apparent to the general public.

With each passing day, I'm grateful that a steadily increasing number of Americans are becoming aware that the police dedicate most of their time and resources towards the war on (certain) drugs because there is no shortage of asset forfeiture laws to repeatedly exploit (among other things). And with an excessively long leash, they can continue to pillage and plunder American homes as they please; when they please; where they please, and how they please.

"To Protect and to Serve" has long ago had its meaning unofficially changed into "to Protect our own vested interests, and to Serve our most financially lucrative opportunities."

No more "Crime and Punishment" - it's now "Crime and Profit" (well, actually it's been this way for awhile now).

Sad story really. The sight of a cop car pulling up in an American neighborhood used to be a welcome sight before the war on (certain) drugs formally began under the guidance of what turned out to be a very crooked former President of the United States. The only PotUS to ever resign from office (in lieu of what would surely have been a successful impeachment). And exactly one month after Richard Nixon quit his job, his successor, President Gerald R. Ford, announced his decision to grant Nixon a full pardon for any crimes he may have committed while in office. Let off the hook - just like that.

What a fucking joke, American freedom, liberty and justice has become. Its founding fathers must be weeping in their graves at what has become of their dream; their vision; their pursuit of happiness and justice for all.

I should note, that I am very much aware, that slavery was still rampant during the late 18th Century (post July 4th, 1776); and also, that it took ~89.5 years + a civil war before it was abolished - a la, the 13th Amendment. So I'm sure the African-American community will probably find my previous comment to be irrelevant, to put it mildly.

Henceforth, to that I say the following: I sincerely apologize for any part that any of my ancestors may, or may not have had in the unjust, disgraceful, and racist oppression of your ancestors. Again, on behalf of that shameful era in American history, I for one am truly sorry. And as a Caucasian, I am ashamed of what they did to your forefathers and foremothers. I think we all wish we could go back in time to change the things we regret the most - myself definitely included. Unfortunately, all I can do for now is to say once again that I'm sincerely sorry, and that I hope you can find it in your heart(s) to forgive us.

^and the (mis)treatment or more accurately termed exploitation of the populations indigenous to North America is a similar yet even more disgraceful aspect (see: thepinkyshow.org)

Um the total number of child porn busts in operation onymous is zero. I am sure all the pedos are hiding now too because Tor has been cracked and they know it. The element of surprise should have been used on them first. Scam sites next. Drugs should have been dead last, after all the child porn was gone. A great chance was wasted here because law enforcement wants to steal bitcoins and doesn't care about children.
I cannot even conceive how anyone thinks selling stolen credit card numbers or drugs is worse than child abuse. It boggles my mind.

Sorry, I know only the basic about Tor, so consider me a lay person in this matter. What do you mean when you say that Tor has been cracked?

How is it that the Tor system could even be cracked or manipulated system-wide by institutional powers (in this case the US police state) with their vested interest in the status qua?

I thought the design of Tor precluded suck a possibility, that the system could be highjacked and manipulated by any government or other significant power.

A very good point which I regrettably but sincerely forgot to mention.

Thank you for reminding me of this, for such atrocities; such violations of human rights (at least in today's American society) should never be forgotten, much less repeated.
