My doc recommended it to me for GAD and said it's non addictive and he sounded like it's safe. But the more I read online the more worried I become. I read that it dumbs you down and prevents the creation of new synapses in the brain. Also the list of possible side effects is pretty crazy. I have never taken a drug yet which had so many possible side effects. For example one side effect is loss of vision or visual disorders and then the leaflet says that such side effects are usually temporary! How insane is this? This sounds as if you can as well go blind from this stuff! I really dont know if I should get on this. It seems much more incalculable than ativan. I dont know why docs always make such a fuss about benzos and then rather prescribe incalculable drugs like pregabalin.

You started a very similar thread so I'm closing this one so you can focus on the other one.
