Could Effexor make you paranoid?

Just wanted to know if Effexor could possibly make someone with mild paranoid schizophrenia more paranoid? I read online that it can treat PTSD though even though it's a stimulant. I don't think it makes sense but does anyone know or have experience with this?

Personal experience, Venlafaxine worked wonders for my anxiety. As with all drugs, they can sometimes exacerbate conditions.

Venlafaxine really dulled me down though, I definitely wouldn't consider it a stimulant.
