Harm Reduction Mosquito bite like bumps popping up after shooting heroin

Hey y'all,
I Havnt been able to find any information on this issue.

Occasionally after shooting up some black tar heroin, a cluster of what would normally look like mosquito bites pop up on my skin around where I just injected.

I'm fairly sure I hit the whole shot and am confused whether or not I should be worried. The inflammations subside after an hour or two.

Any information y'all have would be helpful.

Its just a histamine reaction. Most likely a little dope is leaking out of the syringe or vein into your arm. I wouldn't worry about it.

Exactly what I was going to say..this is a classic histamine reaction. I don't think it would even have to beleaking into the surrounding tissue just something in the mix is causing a local histamine reaction in the area of the injection site because this is where it is most concentrated before it is dispersed and diluted out into your veins.
