Generics do NOT have to be exact in terms of amounts(+/- 10%) or their Bioequivalence. It's not always placebo.

Not sure the level of precision required, but it probably doesn't have to be 'exact' exact.
 
Take for instance hydrocodone 10 mg, the generic would have to be an amount within %10 of name brand.

If you are running a business(which they are) wouldn't you just formulate it to 90% or 91% on purpose to save like 9-10% of your product?? Then just make a deal with the pharmacies (or charge them less than the name brand).
 
I've never seen a difference between generics and name brands on anything, even ordering from shady vendors off silkroad in India. Legit pharma tends to have enough quality control to get their dosing right, IMO.
 
We don't allow discussion regarding generics. I know that none have been mentioned, yet. IIRC, it is plus/minus 20% as effective, not active ingredients.
