Northern India struggles with drug epidemic

Up to 60 per cent of young males are addicted to drugs in the North-Indian state of Punjab, according to experts.

Crack, smack, prescription pills and heroin are easily found on the streets, despite regular border patrols and a huge barb wire fence separating India from Pakistan.

India is corrupt as shit. As if border controls will stop drug trade. It's not going to work when the average cop or agent can be bought there.

It's painfully easy to bribe practically anybody there to get what you want.
