So I have found that if I am very tired, I can sleep while under the influence of MDMA as well as cocaine. However if I take dexamphetamine, it wakes me up so much. I mean, if I am really tired and I do MDMA (or coke) I will still feel tired during the high. But speed, it gets rid of any and all tiredness and then some. It makes me super awake for days. Is it just that much more powerful a stimulant than cocaine and MDMA are? Because i thought cocaine was supposed to be a pretty powerful stimulant. But it doesnt seem that way to me. I mean LSD and mushrooms are far more stimulating to me than cocaine in terms of waking me up and keeping me awake. Cocaine makes my heart beat faster and can be very exhilerating when it frist kicks in, but after that I actually find it to be rather mellow.
Stimulants How come I can sleep on MDMA but not amphetamines?

I would say this is the reason (duration wise).
The slower the onset the longer the effects.
Amphetamines have a much longer half life than both MDMA and coke. I think it is as simple as that.
