Opioids Using a crushed (w/ mortar and pestle Hydromorph Contin) to fend off Dilaudid IV wd's

I have done this exactly before, acquired a 30mg Hydromorph Contin, thoroughly crushed the beads in a mortar and pestle and took very small lines here and there spread over the days to beat over maybe not yet a full blown addiction (and the increasing dosages) but at least 2 injection of 4mg of dilaudid everyday. I can vary between 2 to 4 shots of the yellow dillies a day usually.

I want to stop as hands' veins are suspiciously reddish, which is becoming hard to hide due to re-using ( a throroughly washed and disinfected 10cc syringe each time, i'm not that stupid) syringe, well, turns out I know how they break and and cause damage quickly when re-used too often and also it is getting too costly for me to manage and I could probably get some supeudol (Oxy IR) 5mg as needed from my GP, so why waste all this money ? I have some pain issues but I'm dealing with them like this due to the medical field, even in liberal socialist land (yeah right) docs will want to inject prednisone into you until your immune system is reduced to nil before giving out more than T3's.

Anyway, what would be the best way to use the crushed beads from the 30mg Hydromorph Contin ? I snorted them, but I don't remember exactly how I did last time (in october) to kill my uncontrollable feelings to shoot dilaudid into me, i don't even get that terrible w/d's other than mild stomach cramps and diarrhea, none of the extreme anxiety, sweating and the plethora of other shit eating OXY IR 20mg multiple times a day did to me.

Any hint on how to have a good snorting regimen for the 30mg of hydromorphone that i turned to IR is welcome.

You may have already tried this, but this is what I'd do. If I were trying to reduce with 30s then first I would empty half of the beads and put 15mg in your mortar and grind it up. From here you'll want to dump it out on a surface like a cd case that you can set out of the way and make sure nothing gets blown off; separate the pile into 3 lines which will be 5mg each, then further separate those into 6 lines which should be close to 2.5mg.
Try dosing at usual time with that instead of the 4's--you should be alright, if not just dab a little under your tongue. If you're ready, then start spacing those doses out a bit further...maybe instead of 4 hours, try for 6h.

When the volumes get really small you're going to want to prep it in water so you can dose more accurately (not to inject, just nasally or orally;your choice) So if you want to make up a 10mL solution, put 10mL of water in the syringe (an oral syringe can be purchased or gotten for free at your local pharmacy--insulin syringes without a needle work fine too) and 10mg of drug in the water and draw up. You now have a solution of 1mg/mL then you can dose by liquid and can get it right down to the 0.1mg!

Sounds good Scott, i crushed 15mg you suggested i do so far and am saving the last 3 2mg Dilaudid I have in case of emergency, as I really want to put a stop to IV'ing right now.

When it comes to using pills to fend off withdrawals I take the pills orally, and fully intact. I am aware that the oral BA is lower than the nasal in the case of hydromorphone, and by doing small lines over time you are in effect mimicking the time release, but you are still losing duration with the intranasal BA.

Another option would be to eat half without crushing the beads, and crush the rest and slowly snort that. That will give you the longer duration, as well as higher BA.

With hydromorph contin i always just used a pill crusher for them. Takes abit of work cause the cunt's are real hard to crush up good but it's better then some other methods. Taking half orally and snorting half is a good way to make it last alot longer especially if you leave the time release intact for the half your going to eat. You won't get much of a high from eating it but it will keep you from getting sick unless your tolerance is through the roof.

Hydromorphone is a wierd one in that it has horrific WDs, but only for a short duration.

I know I wouldn't have the will-power to be CTing while staring at a line of HM.

Well i'm doing good so far, haven't touched the rest of my dilaudid, snorted 2 lines in 12 hours only.

I only have a headache so far, not too bad.

Ive got alot of experience with these babys. Alot of people hate em, but they're best bang for your buck, literally.

if your gunna sniff them, try to rinse your sinuses out with baking soda and bit of salt water at the end of the night, long term use wrecks your sinuses.

Best way to crush the beads is with a spice grinder, same idea as a mortar and pestel, but the pestel (crusher) covers the entire top of the mortar (bowl) so nothing sprays out of the bowl when you crush it. I dont have one but my freind does, works great, you have to grind for about 10 minutes, and it comes out to a coke consistency

Only other way I find works the best is with a spoon or end of plastic screwdriver. Pretty obvious how the spoon works, just crush them with the spoon and strength. The screwdriver works better, just crush the beads with the plastic part, hold the screwdriver tip in your right hand and crush the beads with the lengthwise plastic part, using a teeter-totter motion. It takes some work but the end product is great,

pill crushers break...coffee grinders work ok, but not as good as spice grinders

Okay, i'm doing good so far and have put the syringes away, although, i'd have a sniff now and, well, there is still some powder stuck at the bottom of the mortar that I can't reach, i dont want to use my fingers where the little left would just stick to my finger, any good way to take out the leftover stuck at the bottom of the mortar ? (it's not a wooden one, so a scraping option would be okay).

Yeah that worked...what didn't work was my tapering.

After 2 days sober, I gave up to my worst enemy : boredom.

And I bought 12 4mg dillies....i have 6 left the day after. Now this is a kind of expensive habit, i get my dillies 7,50 no matter how much i buy, no price reduction. I can't blame the guy since i know he pays them about 5 dollars each and no reduction in price for quantitiy either. Can I get by with 2 shots of my 4mg dillies and then cold turkey without much problems ? I have here : clonidine, clonazepam, seroquel. All three meds I do not use often,can I expect to not have a too bad withdrawal ? Cos my bank account doesn't want any more withdrawals 8)

I know withdrawing from dillies, even IV, is a lot easier than when i had withdrawals from eating 80mg of OXY IR a day and stopped abruptly...

Maybe i can just use the seroquels and clonazepam in a few days to sleep all day, call in sick and survive the worst, the 4 first days.

I also have some high quality weed and hash and the clonidine is useful to get rid of that damn sweating....or am I fooling myself and need to get on the done now ? I got rid of opiate addiction in the past....why do I have a feeling I can't this time ?
