Hello BL, I've been using zolpidem recreationally for a while now and heard about how eating before taking zolpidem reduces its effects. I have done the mistake of eating a bunch of food right before taking it but I'm not sure when it is safe to eat and for how long I should abstain from eating.
Lots of people say it should be taken with an empty stomach, but how long does it take for it to empty itself?
Thanks.

In my experience zolpidem dosent work at all if there's any food in my stomach, so I used to wait until I was slightly hungry before dosing. Then one day upon waking I was told that I went to sleep with a slice of pizza in the oven & could have burned the house down. I knew it had caused amnesia in me before but after that I knew zolpidem wasn't for me. The normal amount of time that it takes for a meal to pass through the stomach is 2-6 hours with 3 hours being average.
