ok so i know max apap is 4000.. and i know all about the cwe ,but i was lazy and stupid or whatever you want to call it and i took 6,000mg tylenol in 12 hours...should i go to er and tell them to treat me with nac now? or wait it out? i have fatty liver already, and my liver is killin gme,,but i dont feel sick ,maybe just a tiny tired and weak and still in pain.

Go to the ER. They can give you the antidote for the tylenol. Dont risk permanent damage

Actually the current recommended maximum daily dose is 3,000 mg (as of 6/2011), which means you are well beyond that amount. You definitely need prompt medical attention.

Seek medical attention now. If you already have liver issues, 5000mg APAP is very dangerous.

I'm going to close this thread - get off the computer and seek emergency medical attention. Tylenol/APAP overdose is very dangerous but can be treated if you seek help ASAP.
