AM-2201 has low dose response, meaning some individuals respond (unfavorably) at a very low dose, below 50 micrograms. Patients
presenting to emergency rooms intoxicated with the substance typically show convulsions, generalized tremors, etc. Therefore, given its
low dose response curve and potential for neurotoxicity at low doses, I wouldn't recommend it for a Parkinsonian patient.
I have a close elderly relative with Parkinson's. They have a unique type of pain. Has your grandmother seen a pain specialist, one
associated with a university hospital, preferably? What helped my uncle the most has been acupuncture. Sounds corny, I know, but one billion people
can't be wrong.
