Hey guys. I ordered 500mg of AM-2201 for my grandmother who has parkinsons. I was wondering what would be a good oral dose of AM-2201 for someone who has never tried any cannibinoid, including pot. I just want to give her some pain relief.

I don't know the answer to your question but I hope your grandmother knows what you are giving her.

jeez, of course she does. I talked to her for about a week about it to make sure she wanted to try this. Things have gotten so bad with her condition and nothing seems to work, so we figured we should give this a shot. If she doesn't like it or it doesn't do anything, then no biggie but it's worth a shot. I would never, and hope you would never, give anyone something that they didn't know what it was first.

I would love to but because of American laws and hypocrisy she is afraid of getting arrested and of me getting arrested trying to get it. I don't smoke pot anymore and have only recently tried JWH-122, so it just makes sense to use something that is currently legal.

AM-2201 has low dose response, meaning some individuals respond (unfavorably) at a very low dose, below 50 micrograms. Patients
presenting to emergency rooms intoxicated with the substance typically show convulsions, generalized tremors, etc. Therefore, given its
low dose response curve and potential for neurotoxicity at low doses, I wouldn't recommend it for a Parkinsonian patient.

I have a close elderly relative with Parkinson's. They have a unique type of pain. Has your grandmother seen a pain specialist, one
associated with a university hospital, preferably? What helped my uncle the most has been acupuncture. Sounds corny, I know, but one billion people
can't be wrong.

Thanks for the advice, I probably won't give it to her now. It's nice to see that not everyone on this forum is a complete shithead.

When has AM-2201 ever been shown to be neurotoxic? People visiting the emergency room for overdose related panic attacks only get there through carelessness. A carefully measured small dose is not harmful.

If I had Parkinsons, I would definitely try synthetic cannabinoids if I didn't have access to cannabis. For AM-2201, I would dissolve in everclear for easy oral dosing. My preferred dose is 1 to 2 mg, but this feels very strong even with my tolerance. I feel a small effect from 500 mcg, so someone just starting out could start smaller if they want to be extra careful. It takes about an hour to feel the full effects. It lasts several hours this way, much longer than it would if smoked or vaporized.
