is methadone similar to oxycodone in the way that fat helps it absorb morefficiently?

i was wondering (since i can't snort or shoot it) is it better to take methadone on an empty or a full stomache? i know that oxycodone absorbs more efficiently in the stomach taken an hour or so after eating a high fat meal or 30 minutes before eating a high fat meal, and was wondering if methadone works the same. i just took 20mg on an empty stomach and was wondering if i should eat something a little while after.
