five old tough bastards exact revenge on the lover of one of their wives. fantastic character study which takes on the classic 5 blokes in a room for 90 mins and add a headfucky dream like quality at times. very fuckin macho film, as the title suggests, but it really questions what it is to be a man.

i'm so glad i added the blu-ray (stunning quality) to my quikflix queue just out of curiosity.

warning, not much actually happens. still, i was on the edge of my seat and thrilled from start to finish. excellent characters, makes you really want to know more about them. very little plot, but a shit load of drama. i wish i could write like this.

Great cast. Lackluster movie. I was bored to death with this movie.

NSFW:
How much of this exactly was in his head? Did he even really have his wife's lover tied up in the first place?

Either way, this could have been a great movie. I love the cast. But it failed miserably.

i loved how it ...

... spun the fierce emotion from anger to guilt. How much of the film was in his head? i'm not sure, thought it was clearly only the time he spent alone with the guy in the room, hell the others have conversations without him. but when he leaves on his own, i'm not so sure.

tbh, i really enjoyed this a lot.
