A series of "inside jobs" by crooked police has prompted Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon to consider asking the State Government to revamp its anti-corruption laws.
The Sunday Age has learnt that up to 500 ecstasy tablets worth $25,000 have been stolen from one of the most protected areas of the St Kilda Road police complex and another batch of designer pills is missing from Moonee Ponds police station...

I "heard" that as part of the police strike bargaining, the Vic police want a move towards police assoc. members having compulsory drug testing.
That would have interesting results!
