Are they prescribed only? and if so what for?

several of my friend were asking me about them since apparently im supposed to know, but upon a little research i can only find that when used they provide a high of some sort
 
You need to do a lot of reading before trying anything like this. One of these could easily kill you or "your friends." No, they are not OTC, lol. They are for severe pain, for people who are seriously fucked up, dying of cancer, etc. Read bluelight for a long time, read other resources, and please use the search engine to learn about this stuff before trying it!
