cannot fucking wait to see this. darren aronovski is incredible and natalie portman is my favorite actress. plus a girl on girl scene with her? yeah im going to see this.

the combination of attractions make me super fantastically excited to see this. though with that being said, i should tone it down a little bit, don't want to overhype it myself.

anyone else think Ms. portman doesnt look nearly as hot in this trailer? intentional, or is she just getting old? she is almost 30

^her life is practically ovah!
i think she looks fine, but then i'm not into the young chick look anyway.

the trailer doesn't really attract me that much. it's intriguing for sure, but that's it. will still watch it since i love aronofski's stuff.

interesting interview with aronofsky at http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2010/08/30/black-swan-the-wrestler-darren-aronofsky-natalie-portman/ oh and more here: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1646763/20100830/story.jhtml
"At one point, way before I made 'The Wrestler,' I was actually developing a project that was about a love affair between a ballet dancer and a wrestler, and then it kind of split off into two movies," he said. "So I guess my dream is that some art theater will play the films as a double feature some day."
gnarly

my brain is screaming heroin-chic masochism. requiem for a requiem for a dream?

What the helllllll?
This movie looks like its gonnnna be gooooood :)
I'm intrigued.

going to see it today in limited release at Midtown Art Cinema in ATL.

will let you know what I think :)

I love aranofsky, I hope it's good. Ballet S&M, terrors of nightlife, obsession film.

went to see it Saturday but it was sold out. :( let us know how it is Wordswords!!

Closest place showing this is in St. Louis, wtf. Luckily, I'm going to Dallas for Christmas so I'll be able to see it then. :)

wow. another masterpiece. the acting is impeccable(save a only one or two fleeting expressions from Mrs. Mila Kunis). Natalie Portman gives her best performance yet, and it is far beyond any other role she has portrayed. (you can really feel her in this one). The direction and editing are intense. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The writing is brilliant and the story and it's metaphors are monuments of mankinds mastery of emotion in moving pictures.

I am quite biased because i've never met an Aronofsky film that I don't absolutely love. The Fountain is my all-time favorite film, so.......there's that too.........
