Should I or shouldn't I?

Probably a stupid question but i need to know..
I've been thinking about this for a week or so now and was hoping you guys could help me out ... I am currently taking Effexor XR 37.5mg i've only been on them for 2 weeks but am scared of what could happen if i took E. I was planning on taking something in 2 weeks time. My house mate suggested i stop taking the medication for the next 2 weeks...(since its apparently only a low dose)
Would that be a safe idea? I haven't been on the the medication long and it has been a while since i've had E.


Can anyone help ease my mind??

Isn't Effexor an SSRI? If so, i think it will completely/partially block out the effects of MDMA, but i also read somewhere that taking high doses such as 120mg + of Effexor can completely block serotonin, norepinephrine and other neurotransmitters that can lead to depression and other symptom's..
