So have you made any yet? Have plans to make some?
I, along with my boyfriend, are planning to get away from our pot addiction, hopefully by joining the gym and exercising that bit more to get us outta the house.
And by doing that we will have more money, so we want to start saving too.
Sounds easy.. yeh right - i have NEVER kept to any of my NY resolutions.. ;)

I never make new years resolutions because the few times i have i never keep them. When pressed I say that new years resolutions were made to be broken.
Good Luck to all those who make them, i hope you manage to keep them.

To be no longer part of the "fat bluelighters" thread ;)

to not post so much on bluelight and nzrave
find a new job im sick of where i am
win the lottery :)
sort my shit out

My new years resolution is to prove my dad wrong.
He thinks that i'm a drug taking, lazy, do nothing failure. All because i've chosen to follow my heart, and not my head. The way i figure it, i'm 18, and have years to be practical. Now is the time to go after my dreams, and if i fail, at least i tried.
So, hopefully, at the end of 2003, a year from now, i'll be on my way to becoming a success, and will be able to rub my dads bloody nose in it!

Last year I made a new years resolution never to make new years resolutions again. I've done really well so far this year... ;)

  • to try and patch things up with my family
  • get a proper job
  • get my own apartment!
  • start going out again as much as I used to
Those are in order of importance and if I succeed in accomplishing one of the four I'll be happy.

Goals...
* Heavily reduce my gakk intake. I've had too many weekends where the bill has run into the hundreds. It's been making slack at work, housework and gets me behind in bill payments.
* I want to make a conscious effort to read novels and newspapers instead of watching tv/surfing the net/playing video games.
* Eat more healthly and a diverse range of foods.
* I need to get my fitness sorted out, that is going to be a huge challenge because me ankles are sssooo shot to peices. I'm probably going to need a personal trainer and close attention from a physiotherapist in order to make sure I don't break down again

If I can do get at least two of those I'd be pleased with myself. I've made some great gains in the last year, but I've been way too bad in the last month. So I've got to smarten myself up and re-focus.

- sort out differences with in-laws
- be a good mum :)
- end 2003 as close to debt-free as possible
- use more fresh ingredients
- wash my hair more often

- TO keep what i have now together well in to the new year
- To see my friends more !
- To Keep all details of my social life out of my work environment ( for sure )
- To be well organised and manage my money, Aim to save $10,000

To not be lazy: with friendships, uni work, family relationships, exercise, healthy eating and such.
This should make me HAPPIER!!!! :)

not really resolutions, but more a continuance of where i am going with my life.
  • save money
  • go to the gym more regularly than i do at the moment
  • keep going well at uni
  • manage my time really well - i am going to need to next year
  • keep the chem intake down to levels that it is at at the moment
  • maintain my positive outlook on life
if i can do this i will be well on the way and will be a very happy camper :)
