Hey Guys,
At the last event (Austin, Tx) I went to I remember seeing a booth that wasnt run by dancesafe but was handing out pamplets on harm reduction. I had already dropped at that point and decided against starting a conversation with the people running the booth, as I didnt want to seem like the typical talkative E-tard. Anyhoo, I lost the pamphlet and cant remember the name of the group.
So I guess my question is does anyone know of any harm reduction groups active in the rave scene in Texas? If so how could I go about becoming involved/volunteering? I see too many kids younger than myself, obviously clueless about what they are doing. I feel like to actually give something back to the scene that would be a really proactive way of doing it. If I could have just one conversation with a kid that kept him/her from making a decision that could ruin their night or worse it would be worth it. We all speak PLUR, but how many of us live it?
