I have a lump about the size of a quarter that feels hard to the touch and there does not seem as there is any pus or remnants inside. It is the same temperature as the rest of my hand but it is red. I started taking doxyacline and advil 24 hours ago but there has not seemed to be any change. I do not recall missing any of my shots. Any suggestions of what it is and what I should do?

check with doc. why are you using the hand? there are many more unnoticeable places you wont miss if gangrene sets in....
