Hypericum interactions

I went to the homeopathist today and he gave me some hypericum (st. john's wort) for my sleep problems. The thing is (btw, I've already google/bluelight searched for this) that on NYE I'll probably have some drinks. Are there any interactions between alcohol and hypericum? Also, I'm slowly tapering diazepam and wonder if there is any interaction with it. I know there is an interaction with alprazolam, but don't know if there is any interaction with diazepam.

If anyone knows a little more than me about this or has had a previous experience (good or bad), please post it.

Does your doc know you take diazapam?
You should have told him, if not.
You should not be taking valium and drinking. Alcohol increases the effects of that drug.

Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant, it may be working against the effects of the St. John's Wort.

Natural does not equate safe.
