I just saw this move last night and i rate it. alot. The movie on a whole was ok, but there were things that made it special, such as the mental enviroments and the costume details. Prob some of my favourate costume work in any movie ive seen. Anyways, generally after seeing a movie, i like to have a few wallpaper shots of specific scenes in movies, but these can be tough to find in anything other than small sizes. Anyone know a good place ?
 
i was talking to someone else when watching it, so i missed things about the scenario
but it was a visual delight like you don't get too often
 
Pretty cool movie. Awesome visual stuff going on. The sets/scenery in the dream world is awesome. From beautiful to super creepy/nightmarish.
 
d'onfrieo was quite fun in this. i agree, though, that it was the visual effects, the minute details, the slightly twisted imagery, the deep colors and so on that really elevated the film (even with j.lo).
 
I loved this movie, even when my instincts told me to hate it.

Probably the only good thing J-Lo did in her entire career as well.

yeah you can't go wrong with vincent d'onfrieo. i watched this the first time with a head full of acid and i'm sure i've written many times about needing to go to the bathroom excruciatingly bad for the last thirty minutes or so but didn't want to leave cuz i thought it was just about to end.

it's been a while so i'll vote after i see it again
 
hated it. didn't help that i can't stand either d'onofrieo or jlo.

Hated it ive seen it maybe 3 times cause it comes on this channell i have alot and i can't stand it.
 
^ you have to look at it like a painting, more than a movie
(well, since i was talking to someone at the same time, that's what i did and it worked)
 
from my recollection, the cell is like a beautiful painting draped over a cold, hard hollywood cliche plot engine which you can see when the painting occasionally falls off.
 
Thankz for the websight. Yeh im suprised so many people rate it. I Thought it was cool 2, but yeh i expected ppl not to like it that much
 
I really liked this film, though lots of people do not. I remember I went and saw it at the theater when it came out, alone and tripping (because it looked like a good trip movie).

About an hour into The Cell, I was so terrified that I asked some strangers if I could come sit next to them. Thankfully, they obliged.

True story.
