tv: American Gladiators is BACK!!!

ego loss,I'm shaking my head in shame at you if you are seriously looking forward to this crap. I'd rather sit through new seasons of ALF followed by Family Ties than watch this crap again. It was two shots away from being gay porn.
 
i would be more excited by reruns of GLOW

yes, i watched that religiously. and even at the tender age of 10 i realized it was silly. but at least that was done intentionally, american gladiators was just bad, and will be worse now.

i have no shame in admitting, that i actually tried out for this show, TWICE!

yeah, back before it was released here in aus, and this would've been around '95, i went in with a mate just for the fuck of it. we had no idea what it was about.

then the second time i went, not to seriously enter the show, but for the excellent free workout in the tryout. the guy i partnered up with made it on the show! he carried my scrawny teenaged arse! haha!

well, i'm excited. i love watching the old episodes and laughing. we'll see how they update it though- it might not be as funny.
 
I am man enough to admit that I'm looking forward to this! With all of the reality staged crap on now (dancing with stars) (the bachelor), at least this will be a real competition. aside from the wwe like characters the gladiators tried to portray, this really was and will be a show to watch 2 normal folks compete. And I'm a huge Hulk Hogan fan, so I am actually very excited for this

now Demi Moore was ripped in GI Jane yet still hot as fuck ...

I will attempt to keep an open mind on this though and check it out when its on, who knows may just like it ...
 
i have spent many late nights watching gladiator reruns on tv. i can't wait for the new show!

that's awesome! i never tried out, but was really tempted to for fun when they came to my state in the '90's. looking back, I kinda wish I would have, just to have it as a story like you do. maybe this time around I'll get up the nerve... =D
 
Ninja Warrior shouldn't even be mentioned with AG! AG's way by far better! No comparison and you should be banned from Bluelight for even thinking so!
