That's right, in the space of 3 hours there is DJ Shadow, Tiga, One+One, Hernan Cattaneo, Ben Watt, Infusion, Midnight Juggernauts and more.

One word for it: FUCKED

Here's my battleplan, with secondary choices :(

12-1 > Ben Morris

1-1.30 > Bang Gang DJs

1.45-2.45 > Poxymusic

3.30-5 > Riton/TZU

5.15-6 > D Ramirez/Spirit Catcher

6.15-7 > Infadels

7.15-8 > Ben Watt

8-8.45 > Riot In Belgium

9.00-10.30 > DJ Shadow/Infusion/Midnight Juggernauts

10.30-CLOSE > One+One/Tiga/Hernan Cattaneo/Ben Watt

:(:(:(

EDIT: Time will tell whether I attend another Sounds event. 2 headline dropouts, then this set times list. If any of these rooms were the only room that might be ok, but as a festival, not . good . enough.

There are clashes at every major event like this. It happened at Future, Good Vibes and V Festival. I think the organisers do some of the clashes on purpose, so that people are more likely to attend the after parties and see acts they might have missed. It is annoying I know.

I'd recommend seeing DJ Shadow's set. He was amazing at Home last friday night. And he probably won't be touring here again anytime soon. Where as Infusion and Midnight Juggernauts will most likely be in Sydney again within a few months or so.

^^ Agreed, not missing Shadow for anything....was hoping to see Infusion again tho (seen them twice, and they are amazing with live band)....

What sort of set did Shadow play last week? Was it Outsider styled, or a bit more Private Press/Endtroducing?

Every event has clashes yes, but is seems like they set up each room as if it was the only room. Most big festivals/raves i've been to over the last 6 years have taken this into consideration a lot more than this set times list shows....

He played tracks from all three. Pretty sure I heard Stem and The Number Song (Endtroducing). He played the Walkie Talkie beat with the vocals from Six Days (Private Press). Everyone went crazy when he finally dropped Organ Donor. He played Seein Thangs and This Time (Outsider).

Gift of Gab came out about halfway through, Alphabet Aerobics ftw

. The highlight was finishing with Midnight in a Perfect World. Oh and the visuals were literally amazing

So yea, tracks from all three, but luckily there was a focus on Endtroducing.

True. It looks like they've saved the best acts until right at the end, where it's clash central. Infusion, Juggernauts and Shadow should not be clashing

tnargus, here's a review of Shadow's set on friday night. The reviewer was possibly more sober than I, and has better memory of it

:

Shadow@Home

Spot on.

Part of me wishes I got a ticket to this, part of me is glad I didn't as Armin will be enough (or will it? prolly not).

Though with no Kool Keith, and the fact I saw Shadow @ Home (brilliant!) I suppose it's not all bad. Still really wanted to see One+One, I ended up bailing on their gig at Laundry I had tix to on Saturday.

I have one spare ticket

Its second release though, so it's $120!!!!!

If anyone would like it please PM me. I can meet up with the buyer tomorrow or Friday in the CBD area if needed.

:) CANT WAIT!!
