ok when i first saw previews for this movie, it looked stupid. However, I have read a lot of good reviews. For those that like going to rottentomatoes.com, it got a 90% with over 100 reviews. could this movie be the surprise comedy hit of the summer?

after all, we do love lamp
 
dude! steve carell is hilarious, it has to be good. or at least i'm sincerely hoping it will be.
 
I got this movie last night, gonna watch it tonight, the reviews from RT looks good, they are usually tight arsed with the scores but it looks decent.
 
I've seen nothing but good reviews so far; some people are calling it the best comedy of the year. No shit, I've seen some 4 star reviews being thrown about. And, I predicted it would suck! Going to have to see it now.
 
IT was the funniest movie i have seen in a REALLY long time!!

It was very funny, if a bit long. However the ending is worth waiting for. :D

All those lesser-known comics (the virgin's co-workers) were hilarious.
 
it was a bit long... it cute... but i wouldn't call it
HILARIOUS.... alot of scenes were chuckle-laden.
but there wasn't any side-splitting scenes, which
is required to be hilarious, i'd think...

it was definitely worth the matinee price...
but a full on price .... $10??? not quite.


and nothing was more disappointing than seeing
Paul Rudd shirtless... i've had a crush on him since
CLUELESS...

he needs to stop hanging out with the "i can get laid
because i'm funny" crowd.... it's gotten him alittle too
sloppy....
 
Really quite funny. Mindless, but thoroughly entertaining. I laughed so hard at one point I got a cramp in my side. I'm still chuckling at the thought of him getting out of bed with a condom on his foot.
 
Saw it over the weekend.

Fucking hilarious. The final 60's "Age of Aquarius" parody scene was sidesplitting.
 
Funniest movie in a long time. Steve Carrell is a funny bastard
 
I love this movie. NOt just an incredibly hilarious movie, but a really heartwarming and GOOD movie overall, IMO. 4 stars.
 
Best comedy in years.

The tenth funniest minute of Wedding Crashers would have ended up on the 40 Year Old Virgin cutting room floor.

3.5 stars (out of 4.0 . . . but it is truly rare that I rate a straight comedy any higher than 3.5).
 
i finally saw this last night. i think it lived up to the hype- it was really funny. it did seem kind of long though, especially in the middle.
 
I laughed. I cried. The first hour became a part of me.
I was getting bored with the romance plot and the last bit but my reward was the Age of Aquarius.
The co-worker from Brooklyn was a scene stealer!
