PROPHECY - 24thSeptember 2005 - Sydney Superdome - 10pm to 7am

Addicted to the hard stuff? By overwhelming public demand, Powerhouse Productions brings you a brand new vision of dance party excellence, a monumental evolution in the Sydney scene of seismic proportions.

In September, Powerhouse Productions foresees PROPHECY, an all night aural assualt dedicated entirely to the harder side of the dance spectrum. Hard trance, Hard Style, Hardcore and everything in between - the harder it comes, the harder we'll play it. PROPHECY has been tailor made for a new generation of party people who like their beats too fast and too furious and their bass invincible. Three separate rooms will fuel this turbo-charged event, conceived by the heavyweight team behind such awe-inspiring dance parties as the Utopia series, Godspeed and Two Tribes.

Now in their tenth year and boasting an impeccable track record, Powerhouse Productions have continually redefined the party experience, holding spectacular events in some of the country's largest venues. Now they prepare to take it all to the next level with PROPHECY.

Boasting an industrial-strength DJ line-up, PROPHECY will call upon an international onslaught of visionary talent and a legion of homegrown heroes to shake Sydney to its very foundations. Coming on like an aural battering ram, this all night event promises to fulfill every hardcore lover's wildest dreams.

Trying to contain this maniacal mayhem will be the Sydney Superdome, which has previously witnessed mind-blowing parties like Godspeed and Utopia. Renown as the largest entertainment complex in the Southern Hemisphere, it's been overwhelmingly voted by Powerhouse members as their favourite Sydney venue. Here, all hybrids of hardcore will find their true home, brought to life by a pulverising, state-of-the-art sound system and an arsenal of breath-taking lasers and lights.

Have no doubt, PROPHECY heralds a brand new future of dance event. Can you keep up?

PRODUCTION
Without doubt, the Sydney Superdome is the best venue in Australia for stadium-style dance party production. As proven by successful Powerhouse parties in the past, there is simply no other venue like it. In the hands of BLM, Australia's leading lighting and sound specialists, you know the production will be second to none. Over the past 13 years, BLM Production Services have produced many of the most spectacular dance events and music festivals throughout Australasia. With its 100ft high roof and Olympic venue size proportions, the Main Arena in the Sydney Superdome allows BLM plenty of scope to transform the space into a galaxy of mind-blowing lighting and laser effects. Be prepared to see the very latest in special effects lighting and laser technology conceived and wielded by the best in the business.

If you've been to a Utopia or Godspeed before at the Sydney Superdome, you'll know just what to expect from our dominating sound system. Worth over $1 million dollars, it delivers pure crystal clear highs and thunderous bass, ensuring not only will you hear the music, you’ll feel it throughout your entire body. The other arenas haven't been overlooked, boasting their own kick ass sound system, lighting and lasers, proving once again Powerhouse always delivers an unforgettable state-of-the-art experience.

INTERNATIONAL DJS

DJ ISAAC (NL)
One of the seminal forces in Dutch hardcore techno, DJ Isaac has played his scorching hard-trance/hardstyle around the world. In 1999, his first club-trance remix of Hani's 'Baby Wants To Ride' became a top ten hit in Europe, followed up with remixes of Scoop, C.R.W. (Mauro Picotto), Cosmic Gate, Brooklyn Bounce and Safri Duo. Together with one of the top Dutch DJ/producer duos, Pronti & Kalmani, he started the hard house project, P.I.K. which hurtled to the top of the Dutch dance charts for weeks. Together with producer Michiel van der Kuy, he contributed four tracks to the Alice Deejay album called 'Who Needs Guitars Anyway?' which has achieved gold and platinum status in numerous countries worldwide. Most importantly, with hit records such as 'On the Edge' and 'Go Insane', DJ Isaac has forged his own deliciously twisted style. More info: www.djisaac.com

ALPHAZONE (DE)
Looking for fresh ways to captivate a crowd, Alphazone have fused slammin' kicks, breakneck rhythms and razor-sharp acid lines with uplifting melodies, and dramatic breakdowns to blaze their own trail of high energy trance. The German duo have featured in the sets of world-leading DJs like Tiesto and Ferry Corsten as well as remixing the likes of Ian Van Dahl, DJ Kim and BK. After two successful Australian club tours in the last year, Arne and Alexander return to up the ante at the Superdome with a hard trance assault on the main arena. More info: www.skywarp.de

CATSCAN (NL)
23-year-old wunderkind, Bart Kok, aka Catscan, has established himself as a leading force in the Dutch dance scene, best known for his powerful DJ sets and live performances. Hot-wiring techno, hard house, even classical and film music, Catscan's tracks have featured on every Thunderdome, Hardcore to Da Bone, Nightmare and Masters of Hardcore compilation to date. As part of Base Alert with DJ Outblast, floor fillers like 'Zoo' and 'Ojeeoink' have appeared on countless others. With performances at parties like Thunderdome and Mysteryland under his belt, he's respected by audiences and critics across Europe for his unconventional and experimental approach to hard-edged music. OUTBLAST (NL)
Catscan's partner in crime, Outblast has established himself as an icon in the Dutch hardcore scene. Signed to the infamous and world renowned Masters of Hardcore label, he's stamped his mark on definitive hardcore events like Thunderdome, Hellraiser, Masters of Hardcore, Defqon1 and Qlimax. In 2003 Outblast won the award for Best Hardcore DJ at the ‘Masters of Hardcore Awards’. Having already played at his famously sold out Hardcore Concert at the Beursgebouw in Eindhoven (out now on DVD) and Sensation Black at the Amsterdam Arena this year, this hardcore masterblaster is chomping at the bit to bring his world class show to Australia. DARREN STYLES (UK)
With his vast musical knowledge, experimental ability and innate passion for music, Darren Styles has become one of the world's greatest happy hardcore DJs with an impressive twelve years in the scene. Former half of the dynamo duo known as Force & Styles, he scored UK Top 40 success with tracks like 'Pretty Green Eyes' and the much-remixed hit, 'Heart of Gold', and toured the world extensively. These days, Styles’ music has evolved into his own brand of powerful hard trance, collaborating with fellow convert and Prophecy DJ, Mark Breeze, on esteemed labels like DJ Hixxy’s Raver Baby imprint and Nukleuz. MARK BREEZE (UK)
Realising nothing quite gives him the buzz like music, Mark Breeze has thrown himself solely and wholly into making it. Breeze has recently teamed up with long term friend and producer, DJ Styles, and pumped out countless bangin' hardcore and hard trance cuts for labels such as Raverbaby and Nukleuz, which have featured on top-selling compilations like ‘Bonkers’, ‘Original Hardcore’ and ‘Masters of Hardcore’. With tracks like 'Black Magic', 'Lets Fly' and the top 40 track 'DJ Nation' under his belt, Breeze's profile has made serious waves in the hard dance fraternity! Prepare yourself for his frenetic brand of electronic hardcore burning up the dancefloor of the main arena! www.djbreeze.co.uk

DOUGAL (UK)
Voted the number one hardcore DJ by MTV and Dreamscape, DJ Dougal (Paul Clarke) has been one of the world's leading purveyors of hardcore with a decade in the business. Mixing up a storm of euphoric, experimental hardcore with uplifting vocals, his stormin' sets have seen him play most major cities in the world, including his biggest crowd at Mayday in Germany to over 40 000 crazy punters. He owns the uber-successful Essential Platinum label which boasts over 100 releases including such high profile artists as Hixxy, Force & Styles and Dougal's own collaborations with Gammer and Mickey Skeedale. If there's one man that knows his hardcore, it's Dougal.

MC STORM (UK)
A raver himself, Storm (Carl Billsborough) knows what ravers want! With his vocal scratching and his hyperkinetic lyrics, he's the MC of choice for fellow Prophecy DJs, DJ Breeze, Styles and Dougal, providing turbo-charged rhymes to their respective sounds. Storm was voted number one MC by the ravers at the 2003 Hardcore Heaven Awards party, and the UK’s number one MC two years running. With more than ten years now on the mic, his trademark flow has seen him feature on huge hits by artists like Sy & Unknown, Hixxy and Breeze and perform at UK raves like Slammin’ Vinyl, Hardcore till I Die and Hardcore Heaven. Witness the man rip it up live during the sets of DJs Dougal, Breeze and Styles at Prophecy.

INTERSTATE DJS

DJ DAIR (WA)
Firebrand Perth DJ Dair has already blazed a trail here and overseas, playing alongside the world's hardcore elite including Brisk, Hixxy, Sy, Scott Brown, Slipmatt and countless others. Along the way, Dair has worked with seasoned producers like Fade, Luna C and Simon Apex, and unleashed fresh cuts on labels like Brisk & Ham's Next Gen, Hecttech and KFA. Once again, he's ready to show us east coasters exactly why West is best.

DJ MENIS (WA)
Fellow Perth counterpart, Menis (Chris Watt) started his DJ career way back in 1996, establishing himself with residencies at legendary local hot spots, Gravity and Elysium. He's toured the UK twice and shared the stage with hallowed producers like Slipmatt, Scott Brown, Brisk, Sy and Billy Bunter. still trying to organise this with mates, trying to organise transmissions aswell, my friends are useless i think i'm just gonna buy my tickets to both of them and see if anyone else turns up....dougal and mc storm should be pretty good. Only thing thats turning me off is the 16+, i get really annoyed when i see 15yr olds completely buckled and then see their mums pick them up after the event. Should still be an awesome night at the super dome but!!

All my my peaceful blessings of integrity be upon this event. I be a rainbow raver of the love light and shall be there some-how.
blessings;
O.
GRACE

I finally decided to buy my ticket and stupid Jolley Rogers reckon they havn't got the tickets yet and don't know when they are getting them, i better not miss out on this, have to make up for Transmission!

I got tix for this one. Keen to see Isaac.

As Breeze and Styles are playing at Mayhem (QLD) from 11am-1pm, I think we might get them playing 3am...maybe later... Someone tossed around the idea of a morning anthems set :)

I'm going straight for this one...I know, I know, what am I thinking...lol...but at least it means I will have no excuse for not being front and centre!

And the RollCall starts, who else is going to this one? I know you are Tony. Got my ticket yesterday! Pretty keen for this seeing that i missed out on Transmission.
