Whoa. Basic gist of this article: USA Judges are now able to give penalties for 1 gram of ecstacy equal to the same penalty for 500 grams of marijuana.

Holy crap, thats insane...
I mean fair enuf on the weed, who carries half a fricken KILO of weed around that isnt deep into the trafficking game... However fail to see how that reasoning holds over to 1 gram of MDMA! Thats about 7-10 pills! Not exactly a cartel situation happening there!
This seems to be another moralistic zero-tolerance campaign doomed to put ravers in prison. At the expense of sensible, workable education.
