Triple J's Hottest 100 2004...

first off... mods, if this is in the wrong place... please move it, didnt have a clue what to put it, so i decided here would be a good place to start...

so it is that time of year again, where we get to vote for our favorite songs of the year via our government funded friends at triple J...

i must admit, i enjoy having the days where u can just sit on ur ass and listen to the countdown... because it is always on Australia day, it is hard in sydney, due to the big day out... but they have it counting down on the big screen which is quite kool...

I'm heaps into music ,but this is tough for me because I'm into buying records and haven't listened to the radio much at ALL this year.

That's quite a list.....but since i was out of the country for most of the year i've heard of maybe 5% of them!

If it was released later in the year Spiderbait - Black Betty would get #1 hands down....it should still make the top 10 though

And Powderfinger - Bless My Soul and Evermore - It's Too Late will be up there too.

I absolutely loathe Black Betty, I mean, seriously - you're a well established local Australian band, then you go out and churn shit such as "Black Betty" which is absolute rubbish!
